Summary: This position is responsible for achieving a smooth flow of accurate information throughout the
system to ensure timely decisions are made.

  • Track inventory of critical supplies for paper making process. Includes weekly and month physical

inventories of chemicals, finishing supplies, and operating supplies throughout the facility.

  • Manage vendor database. Direct contact with outside vendors to update existing data, assist new

vendors with approval process, and monitor insurance requirements.

  • Support mill buying function by obtaining competitive quotes for general mill supplies.
  • Follows up outstanding orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Interface with truck drivers for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Assist Logistics Manager with outbound loads.
  • Managing paper work for raw materials to ensure accurate data entry.


  • Providing management with accurate and timely information concerning incoming supply issues

and inventory levels.

  • Gaining knowledge of pulp and paper industry.
  • Efficiently balancing mill’s production to meet customer’s order needs.


  • Excellent computer literacy required.
  • Clear verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Accuracy, efficiency and time management skills.
  • Prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the shipping and freight forwarding industry helpful.
  • Strong Analytical Skills

Educational/Experience requirements: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1 year customer service and/or financial systems.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sitting, Standing, Walking on uneven surfaces. May be required to lift up to 50lbs
