This position provides a “service” to Mill personnel, our Suppliers, and other customers. This a visible position which requires good communication skills. This person would work closely with the Stores Warehouse Reconciler .
Maintain the Stores facility in a neat and orderly fashion; parts should be stored safely and where items can be located and accessed by Mill personnel.
Perform data entry within designated software programs daily.
Constantly be aware of the quantity on commodity type items and perform quick cycle counts to insure availability of products.
Stockpile used cardboard in the appropriate container and remove to OCC warehouse when container is filled.
Refill appropriate items in designated location that are stored in lockup (i.e., gloves, batteries, bits, etc.).
Requires proficiency in building or modifying shipping containers and to understanding of safe crate construction and handling.
Complete Bill of Lading (BOL) with correct measuring and weighting of article.
Work with freight company representatives. Utilize their on-line data web site for shipping and documentation in addition to communicating shipping information, safely loading and unloading shipments, and reporting and following up on damage claims.
Produce shipping labels, equipment repair forms and coordinating shipping with freight company’s and supplier personnel.
Daily Receiving Reports.
Daily Issue’s and Associated Report.
Daily Platinum Receiving.
Daily AMMS Interface.
Monthly Stores Activity Reports.
Daily review of Surveillance cameras to insure Stores compliance standards.
Must have good communication (verbal and written) skills.
Have excellent organizational skills and be detailed oriented.
Must be knowledgeable in programs of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Lotus, and demonstrated competency in financial software.
Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
A strong understanding on machinery and parts nomenclature is necessary.
Knowledgeable in the operation of Fork-lifts and mechanical material lifting devices.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Vision must meet legal requirements for operating a vehicle.
Specific job duties which require the above-noted physical demands are deskwork and computer input; walking at work site and vendor work sites; communicating with fellow employees, customers and vendors.
Typical physical requirements of an office environment are present: movement around office and/or complex, utilize copy and fax machines; occasionally walking/climbing of stairs.
May have exposure to cold or hot conditions in and out of the warehouse.
